Vessel Design

At AIRCAT VESSELS, custom vessel development projects are developed in partnership with our long-standing naval architecture partner ESNA, whose naval architecture expertise forms the foundation of the vessel designs promoted by AIRCAT VESSELS.

Through this partnership, AIRCAT VESSELS acts as the operational interface between the end user and the designer, helping ensure that the vessel design process remains closely aligned with real operational requirements from the earliest stages of development.

Beyond the naval architecture itself, AIRCAT contributes operational feedback throughout the design process, with particular attention given to onboard ergonomics, ease of maintenance, operational safety, and overall usability for vessel crews and offshore personnel. Operational ergonomics and situational awareness are central design considerations, with layouts and onboard systems developed by experienced seafarers, for seafarers.

Redundancy, maintainability, and fleet availability are also integrated into the design philosophy. Wherever possible, practical “plug-and-play” approaches are implemented to facilitate maintenance operations, simplify component replacement, and minimise vessel downtime.

From initial operational discussions to final vessel configuration, the objective is to develop vessels that combine advanced naval architecture with practical operational functionality and long-term operational efficiency.
